These are short, practical documents from my teaching and consulting on using AI well in research, with pointers to my classes and to grant-writing material. Most started as one-page handouts for the researchers I work with. I revise them often and add to them as the work grows. If you find something out of date, tell me.
AI policy and data safety
The baseline I work from when researchers and institutions ask the two questions that come up first: is this allowed, and is this safe.

AI, Research Integrity and Data Safety
What the major bodies and funders agree on for responsible AI use, when research data about people can go into AI, and how competence makes compliance much easier.
Class abstracts
Outlines of the workshops and seminars I teach. Links to the official university pages will be added here as they go live.

Build Your Own AI Writing Assistant
The concept note for an advanced, hands-on course in AI-assisted academic writing: building a writing system in your own voice, using AI as a reviewer, and learning to check what it writes.
Taught at the University of Basel: the university's announcement.
Grant writing
Material on AI-assisted grant and fellowship applications, including ERC-specific work, is coming. Check back, or write to me if you have an application in progress.
